Caring for children is a great reward. Our families enjoy sharing their homes and lives with children who require care or may have unique complex medical needs. The children we support range in level of need but they all need caring, competent foster families. We applied to become foster parents with Partners in Parenting in 1998. We chose Partners in Parenting because it is a small, caring organization that is committed to providing compassionate care to foster children.
The organization is unique in providing each family with a Foster Family Supervisor who provides guidance on the many new experiences and challenges in fostering. Foster parents are provided with ongoing training with respect to mental health issues, physical and sexual abuse and the many special needs that affect the children who come into care.
As Partners in Parenting foster parents, we work with a wide range of professionals who are committed to foster children. Through this organization, we have developed close friendships with other foster parents whom we have met through monthly meetings and foster family activities.
Fostering is a life changing experience and Partners in Parenting and its foster parents are an amazing group to work with and who understand the calling of a foster parent.

Our family has fostered with Partners In Parenting for almost ten years. Their heart for children in care is evident. In fact, the founders of Partners In Parenting began as foster parents.
The organization has never lost that desire to provide a successful fostering experience for both the child and foster family. As a Partners’ foster family, we benefit from 24 hour/7 days a week support. The on-call system ensures that you can talk with a person rather than a machine whenever help is needed.
