Respite n’ Recreation Services is an after care and Saturday program that focuses on providing a stimulating and fun environment for children, youth, and adults with Special Needs.

We run from 3-6pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays from 9-4pm.

Participants can enjoy both group games and individual activities.

Respite is a vital part of supporting your loved one with special needs.

Giving your family a rest, time to spend with other children, seeing friends and taking care of yourself is very important in being a successful caregiver.

Respite Care is offered at Partners in Parenting in most of our programs. 

We can support the child/youth/adult in one of our foster homes or

within our Supported Living Programs (the type of home depends

on the availability in our programs).

Our aim is to connect a child/youth to a program or home and establish a relationship with that program or family.  We are able to provide short term and long term respite, as well as vacation stays.
