ACEworks Day Program now operates at 2315 St. Laurent Blvd. in Ottawa, ON, from Monday to Friday with hours from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.  Our participants range in age from 18 years.  These participants rotate between activities with their assigned staff throughout the day; staff manages the individualized programming plans as well as managing the various medical, physical, and behavioural challenges.  Programming includes prevocational job training, educational skills, physical/range of motion and sensory stimulation with all activities geared towards each individual’s abilities.  Swimming, a cooking program and computer skills are offered as well as crafts, games and social programs.  Our program partners with OTLC on a regular basis for special social activities.  We are working on developing after hours and weekend programming at this new site. 

ACEworks Treats ‘n Treasures is our storefront location at 254 B McArthur Ave. in Ottawa, ON, where the more capable individuals are able to learn appropriate social interaction and a variety of skills in a workplace setting.  The store is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, where the nine full and part time participants work together with the coaching of two staff members to create unique jewellery and gift items for sale as well as to operate the various functions of the store.  The store also offers a variety of convenience items for sale including coffee, pop, chips, cards and gift bags.
